Terms and Conditions 

 

The Terms and Conditions under which I provide Services as a McKenzie Friend are as follows:-

 

1. I will use my best endeavours to attend any hearing or meeting that I have undertaken to attend.

 

   a) If due to unforseen circumstances I cannot attend I will endeavour to recomend someone who can attend            in my place.

   b) In the event of non attendance any advance payment with be refunded wthin 10 working days. 

 

2.  I am not a trained solicitor and make no warrenties or representtions of any kind regarding advice or                 suggestions and take no liability or responsibility for decisions made by a client. 

 

3.  I will maintain client confidentiality at all times with the exceptions below:-

    

    a) I may discuss details of the case anonymously with other professionals to seek advice or information                   relevant to your case. 

    b) I may discuss details of the case with appropriate authorites, if I have cause for concern that a child is at               serious risk of harm. 

 

4.  Payments for Court Hearings and Meetings are payable in advance.

 

5. Should invoices not be settled within 28 days ofthe invoice date I reserve the right to add interest at a rate of       4% added monthly (48%  pa)
